Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption

All information (data) that moves between your computer and the webOSCAR server is encrypted with the same security technology (https://) used in online banking and credit card transactions. This ensures that your information stays safe and intact.

Data Protection

webOSCAR's data processing environment is housed in a state-of-the-art, locked-down, climate-controlled data center. On-line data are stored using RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) technology to protect against loss from disk crashes or other malfunctions. Databases as well as complete images of all system-related disks are regularly backed up to a separate, dedicated backup server.

Authorized User Access

webOSCAR allows administrators to easily assign and control users in your organization. Easily create and manage as many authorized user accounts as necessary for people to securely log in, view, and manage compliance program activities, or to manage other users.

No Third Party Components

webOSCAR does not rely on any plug-ins, Active-X, or other third party components that could possibly malfunction or compromise security.

Encrypted Password protection

Passwords are individually encrypted within the database to ensure that only authorized users are able to access their own webOSCAR accounts. webOSCAR requires each user to assign his/her own, secure password. If a password is compromised or lost, or a user's access needs to be terminated, the password can be immediately reassigned by an authorized administrator.
